The first joint presentation of the Croatian Ball in Vienna and the Gala Ball of the County of Varaždin in Varaždin is an event of exceptional cultural and social significance. The first joint presentation will be held in Varaždin on 15 November 2019, and the second is scheduled in the premises of the Croatian Centre in Vienna on 11 December 2019. Due to the historical and logical link between the Balls in Vienna and Varaždin, the County of Varaždin connected the Croatian Ball of Burgenland Croats and the Gala Ball of the County of Varaždin in partnership. This also represents the beginning of cooperation between the County of Varaždin and the Federal Land of Burgenland. The Ball is also included in the project Together 4 Cohesion: Let's rEUnite! implemented by the Assembly of European Regions. The goal is to increase the importance of EU cohesion policies. It is planned that an agreement on cooperation between the County of Varaždin and Burgenland will be signed.
