Representatives of the Justice and Home Affairs Council of the European Union and the United States meet for the second time during the six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The first meeting (Rovinj) takes place at the level of senior officials and also serves as a preparation for the one at the ministerial level, which takes place on 28-29. May 2020 It is customary for a ministerial meeting to be held in the first part of the calendar year in the capital of a member currently holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, while in the second part of the year it will be held in the United States.
The Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of the Interior have decided not to hold the council in the capital of the Republic of Croatia (Zagreb), but to hold a meeting in Dubrovnik.
