Meeting of Issue Group on Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (IG AFOLU) within the Expert Group on Mitigation (EGMIT) and the Working party on international environment issues - Climate change (WPIEI – Climate change)
At the meeting in Zagreb on 10 and 11 of February 2020 experts from EU member states will discuss topics related to agriculture, forestry and land use important for the implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement. Topics will, among others, include the Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture, issues related to Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, and the Nairobi work program.
The discussions will help to prepare and agree on common EU position in climate negotiations.
