The Croatian Presidency will address the challenges facing young people and the additional empowerment of young people in order to be actively involved in community life and contribute to social change. The aftermath of the global economic crisis has hit young people the most, especially those in rural and remote areas, including many young families and highly skilled workers. Education, employment and youth empowerment are a common challenge of many Member States, going beyond the national framework and to which the Union needs to be more intensively committed.
The issue of climate change impacts on the environment will be highlighted. The adoption of a Resolution on ensuring opportunities for young people based on the results of VII will be proposed. of the Dialogue cycle. Workshops will be organized on youth opportunities in rural areas on employment, volunteerism, youth participation in democratic processes and structures, gender equality among young people, entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship among young people, etc.
